Ginger played softball all four years (1998-2001) at the University of Alabama and was a 1st team All-American in 2001. She is in the top ten in numerous statistical categories the SEC and at Alabama.
Ginger was a US National Team Training Camp invitee in 2001 and played professionally in 2004 for the Texas Thunder in the National Pro Fastpitch League (NPF).
Ginger coached softball at North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega. In her two seasons there, North Georgia made their first two appearances in the NAIA National Tournament, won 2 conference championships, and 2 conference tournament championships. Ginger, most recently, coached at North Forsyth High School in the Atlanta area.
As a private instructor near Atlanta, she helped assist Ocee Park and Recreation in Alpharetta, GA with player and coach development , designed coach and player clinics, did individual pitching and hitting instruction, as well as aid coaches on-site with effective and efficient practice strategies and itineraries.
